Covid-19 Update 24-09-2020

Today the Government has launched its new contact-tracing app called

NHS Covid-19
We thoroughly recommend all of our parents and spectators download this app which takes minutes
to do and is very user friendly. When you attend training or home matches you can go into the
‘venue check-in’ tab in the app and scan the QR code upon arrival which will be clearly on display at
our venues. What this will then do is alert you if a venue you have visited is found to be an outbreak
hotspot and users can then be notified and told to self-isolate/get tested depending on
circumstances without any identities being revealed. Major mobile networks have agreed not to
deduct data used by the app from subscribers’ monthly allowances. For more information or to

Currently, our town’s risk level is medium and so it is vital we all do what we can to keep ourselves
